In Estremoz (15/20min drive) you will find multiple Pharmacies open. It’s probably the best place to go in case you need one, to avoid the disappointment of traveling to see a pharmacy which is not open.

Public transport

Is highly advisable that you rent a car to visit Alentejo. Alentejo is a very low density area, which is ill served of public transports.

To get to Vimieiro - which is 2 km away from Casa do Vagar - you can either get a bus from Lisboa or Evora.

If you’re coming from Lisbon you can take Rede Expresso which has 2 buses a day / but be careful with service on weekends.

Another option is to get a bus to Evora with Roda Alentejo and from there to rent a car.
